Leaving The Rat Race To Move To Brainerd MN
The first reason people are migrating to the Brainerd Lakes area in droves is that they’re sick of the rat race of the big city. They’re tired of crime, they’re tired of chaos and now that they can work remotely they want to live the up north experience. That’s what the Brainerd Lakes area has to offer.
I’ve lived in the Brainerd Lakes area my entire life. What I love about Brainerd Lakes is that you can get away, go on the lake, hit the trails, do some skiing, and just forget it all.
Move To Brainerd MN For A Small-Town Feel With Big City Amenities
A second reason to move to Brainerd MN, is the small-town feel with a lot of big-city amenities. We have great restaurants, world-class golf courses, and we’re only two hours north of the Twin Cities.
Some of my favorite restaurants in the Brainerd Lakes area include The Classic (which is part of the Madden’s Resort) and Grand View’s fabulous restaurant called CHAR. When it comes to golf, we have The Legacy, The Classic, and some of the top golf courses in the entire Midwest.
Beautiful Lakes And Education
The third reason people are moving to the Brainerd Lakes area is all the beautiful lakes. Minnesota is known as a state with 10,000 lakes, and we think 8,000 of them are right here in the Brainerd Lakes area. We have big lakes that have a lot of restaurants and smaller lakes with more of that natural environment. So whether you want entertainment or you’re looking for tranquility, there’s a lake that will fit every person’s lifestyle.
A bonus reason people love to live in the Brainerd Lakes area is that we have some top schools in the entire state. Whether it’s Brainerd High School, Pequot Lakes High School, or Pillager, we have some fabulous teachers and great extracurricular activities. It’ll be a fantastic foundation to build your kids’ lives on.
